In November 2007 a large group of teachers from across Midlothian, East Lothian and Scottish Borders attended a conference which focussed on the Curriculum for Excellence draft experiences and outcomes for Numeracy.

In the months that followed many of those teachers in Midlothian were supported to trial the experiences and outcomes in, across, and beyond classrooms in Numeracy projects.
