Calcutta Cup Visits St Andrew's

On Monday 13 October we were fortunate enough to have the Calcutta Cup in St.Andrew's Primary School. All staff and pupils welcomed the Cup in the Hall. Pupils listened well to the history of the Cup and asked interesting questions. The Cup was taken on a tour of all the classes and many photographs were taken. Everyone agreed this was a very exciting event.

There are lots of things happening over on the Outdoor Learning Portal:
- S6 Challenge. The second S6 Challenge will take place on Thursday 20 March 2008 at Vogrie Country Park.
- Training Courses. Course information on courses until June 2008 including Emergency Aid, Educational Visits, Training for Visits Abroad, Environmental Studies, Taking Learning Outdoors, Farm Visits, Outdoor Emergency Aid, TOP Outdoors and lots more
- Science. Curriculum for Excellence has produced the experiences and outcomes from early level to the fourth level. Many of these experiences are out of doors and include various investigations in the local environment.
